Thus, The Humanitarian Agency seeks to support the poor families whose children have been placed in foster ca re in Philadelphia, as a way of facilitating the reunification of the children with their families. Children would have a better chance of realizing their destiny if they are reunited jeopardize and grow together with their families. nigh families in Philadelphia are separated from their children, mostly due to the inability of the families to provide their children with a better nucleotide environment that would foster healthy children growth (United States Census Bureau, 2010). The result is trauma both to the families and their children associated with loss and separation. The requirements for reuniting the children back with their families are high and expensive for the poor families in Philadelphia. The cost of maintaining the children in foster care is withal high. There is therefore a dire need to resettle the children in foster care in Philadelphia back to their homes.
